Corrosion – Risk for Drinking and Process Water Systems
Corrosive action occur in many drinking and process water systems influencing the performance of a technical system. Such process however, can also result in heavy metals in the drinking water with a subsequent health hazardous resultant product.
Pipe perforation and leakage caused by corrosion reduce the lifetime of a total pipe system and may result in tremendous damage to building substance. Furthermore, rust deposits offer best conditions for growth of germs.
